Oshkosh, WI – Girbau North America (GNA), a leading provider of commercial and industrial laundry solutions, announced today that it is being acquired by EVI Industries, Inc. (EVI), a publicly traded company dedicated to the commercial laundry industry across North America. This strategic acquisition strengthens both companies’ ability to deliver innovative laundry solutions while enhancing service and distribution capabilities nationwide.

GNA, formerly a subsidiary of Girbau, has been a trusted leader in the laundry equipment industry, and will conduct business as usual moving forward without changes to leadership, staff, services, support or culture, according to GNA President Mike Floyd. “We remain dedicated to our customers, and now our resource pool of products, knowledge and services has grown thanks to the many partners of EVI across the United States. In her new role, Auchtung will nurture new construction leads and support special sales projects, while working closely with multiple departments to ensure customer satisfaction and success. Oshkosh, Wis. – Girbau North America recently welcomed Kris Stieg, of Oshkosh, Wis. as shipping and receiving specialist. In his new role, Stieg juggles a variety of duties, including parts and product order fulfillment, inventory stocking, forklift operation, inventory verification and basic maintenance and repairs of forklifts, parts and machines.

Stieg, who comes to GNA with 11 years of related warehouse and distribution experience, said he’s enthusiastic about his new role. “I like that you’re not just a number,” he said. “GNA is a place where you can work independently and as part of a team. It’s the perfect dynamic and I love it already.”
